Acid ValueTitration Kit

Sunshine Acid Value Fast Titration Kit is developed based on China National Standard of Acid Value testing (GB/ T 5009.37-1996). This testing set can easily and quickly determine the quality of all kinds of frying oil. Follow procedures below,the test will be accomplished within 5 mins.

Equipment and Reagents：Plastic beaker、Stainless steel spoon、FFA titrant dropper bottle、FFA indicator dropper bottle- Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) (90% or greater)

TitrationProcedure

1.To the 150 mL beaker,add the >90% Isopropyl Alcohol to the 100mL mark.

2.Add 5 drops of FFA Indicator into the beaker from step 1

3. With the spoon provided, add 1 spoonful of oil to the 150 mL beaker from step 1.

4. Stirring with spoon.

5. Stir   the mixture with the spoon while dripping FFA titrant one drop at a time into

the 150 mL beaker.

6. Be careful to count each drop as you go until the solution stays pink for 15 seconds.

Please record the number of drops. And calculate the Acid Value by the formula we provided.
